BEKO Technologies Endorse Work of VBRA
BEKO Technologies, the compressed air specialists, joined the VBRA Vehicle Builders & Repairers Association recently following their decision to become more involved in the motor vehicle paint spraying industry, a decision that they have never regretted.
Commenting on the initiative, Barry Briscoe, BEKO's Technical Manager remarked, "It quickly became apparent that many body shops know their overall business very well and offer a professional service leading to high levels of customer satisfaction. The generation and downstream handling of compressed air, particularly for paint spraying, however, was not fully understood by some and as independent advisors who do not sell equipment we were able to offer impartial, constructive advice in several areas."
Expanding on this Barry went on to say, "Our business is associated with providing advice and guidance on the correct use of compressed air to enable users to become more efficient. We discovered that with a little training and the imparting of more knowledge to the end users some spraying problems could be eliminated simply by improving air quality. This in turn has lead to fewer surface blemishes and the elimination of re-work yielding real bottom-line improvements."
Remarking on the assistance VBRA membership had delivered Barry said, "As members, BEKO can call on the VBRA for guidance and information at any time to ensure that we deliver solutions to problems in a timely and constructive fashion. Similarly, garages experiencing problems can contact us easily, quickly and at zero cost using the VBRA's database. Arising from our membership we have now devised a service specifically for body shops across the UK. Working with the VBRA we are now able to offer tailor made solutions to many issues including air quality testing to ensure legal obligations are met."
