The company manufactures and markets the increasingly successful SEPURA brand of compressed air condensate cleaners which is supported by a range of condensate drains and accessories. However, the compressed air market profile is changing. Fewer large air compressors are being sold, while the fragmented manufacturing base means that smaller compressors outsell their bigger counterparts many times over.
Historically, the smaller compressor user has not invested in condensate management, believing that any inspectorate had bigger problems to police, and refusing to pay the capital cost which was high in relation to their compressor purchase. Yet it is likely that the total quantity of oily condensate from the huge population of compressors of 7.5kW and below is similar to that from the smaller population of larger machines. Quite an environmental issue, but SEPURA provide the solution!
The SEP 60 is the first purpose-designed condensate cleaner to offer the smaller compressor user a cost effective solution to the problem of oily condensate. The innovative SEP 60 is designed as a fully disposable unit. At the end of service life the body can be completely sealed for clean transport to a disposal site, all the retained oil being held in the filter medium. The replacement simply clips on to the 'fix-once' wall plate. Push-in fittings complete the convenience features.
Given that even a 7.5kW compressor is capable of producing over 3000 litres of oily condensate in a full year, SEP 60 is an affordable way to protect the owners legal status as well as the environment.
