Ecodesign - the user has to choose the most efficient system, not legislation

The EU Ecodesign directive only prevents the sale of the least efficient products, it does not help the end user to design the most efficient system. It is a product oriented directive, but energy efficiency improvement is a combination of a product approach and a system approach. The seminar will look at practical examples where different motor controls methods are suitable, depending on the application and the load type.
